My passion for everything from a bygone era reared itself in childhood…Living in Egypt for a while helped kick that off! I fell in love with the idea that historical objects, works of art and monuments were in fact witnesses from our past that have survived the passage of time. These are to be treasured, appreciated, studied and above all looked after for the benefit of future generations.
What else could I have ended up studying but archaeology! After several years of allowing my professional career to take me to entirely other areas of business, I finally decided to make myself truly happy by again focussing on my interests and passions. I followed semi-private antique restoration lessons given by a restorer who has also worked for the Louvre museum, amongst other clients. I followed a four year in-depth course on Antiques & Art History and obtained my certificate with flying colours in 2020. My end-of-studies dissertation treated the 'Authentication of antique furniture based on technical elements as opposed to stylistic elements'.

I take your privacy just as seriously as I take mine. This website does not place cookies on your PC and your visit to this website will not result in your personal data being gathered or stored for the purpose of sharing it with third parties. I run a person to person business and so I only use your contact details for the purpose of direct communications between us regarding our business transaction, as well as for creating an invoice. Seeing as payments are done by bank transfer, I do not require your bank account or credit card information. Any information obtained will not be shared with third parties of any kind.

Payments
I accept payments via PayPal, traditional bank transfer or as cash upon personal pick-up.
Creditcard payments can be made on my shop (DelAgan) on www.Etsy.com where many of my items are listed.
After you send me an email, I will get back to you ASAP to confirm the total cost including shipment and provide you with payment details. Shipments can only be arranged once your payment is received.

Shipment Policy
In principle, items can be shipped to most countries.
Please note that for certain destinations, primarily those outside of the European Union, import customs taxes will need to be paid by the recipient/customer).
The total cost is provided to you prior to the payment, either via the site itself or in an email. Shipments will be arranged for only after payment is received. Once shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking number.
Small and medium sized packages will be sent by the Belgian postal service (BPost) or a private courrier such as GLS. Items of a hig value will also be sent by an insured private courrier.
Larger items will be sent by private courier. The shipment cost depends on the size of the item and the delivery destination.
