Date: 1930s to 1950s
This little wall mounted cabinet is THE solution for those with a narrow hallway who need a place to keep their keys etc. safe and have a quick look in the mirror before heading out the door. It’s not only very practical, it actually looks really nice; its rounded corners and rich golden patina give off a glow of warmth.
The cabinet’s original purpose was undoubtedly that of a bathroom/apothecary cabinet. And why not use it for that if you’re not one to need a huge mirror…
The cabinet has a little hinged door with wavy textured glass that reveals 3 shelves behind it. Next to the door is a mirror with shelf space beneath it. The lower level is comprised of two small drawers side by side. The wood is oak. There are two metal drawer knobs and mounting hooks.
Dimensions: 44 cm high, 54.5 cm wide, 13 cm deep, 5 kg
Condition: Good condition. A couple of minor barely visible scratches here and there consistent with usage throughout the times. The drawer knobs and hooks have been left as they were with their patina left intact.
