Date: 1960 - 1970
This attractive stoneware lighter with a mottled blue brown glossy glaze was produced by the well-known Rörstrand pottery factory in Stockholm, Sweden; a renowned center for Scandinavian ceramics.
This lighter, part of the T.2 series, was designed by their most famous ceramic designer Carl-Harry Stålhane (1920-1990). Stålhane produced several pieces with this kind of glazing. The lighter & fluid section can be removed.
The pottery mark on the base shows the Rörstrand mark that was used between 1938 and 1971. Even though Stålhane’s typical CHS signature is not included here, the ‘T.2’ series mark is included and is documented to have been designed by him

Condition: Excellent condition. Sold/shipped without lighter fluid, flint or wick.
